The Limited PSLF Waiver Ends in Late October

TIME IS RUNNING OUT! 

Do you have a federal student loan? 

If so, you may be able to benefit from temporary changes made to the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. These changes, called the “Limited PSLF Waiver,” are helping borrowers across the nation more easily get their loans forgiven – but if you haven’t already applied for PSLF, you must submit a PSLF form and/or consolidate your non-Direct federal student loans by October 31 to get the benefit.

We need clear, solid data on the racial leadership of nonprofits in New York City and the financial position of BIPOC-led organizations.

Nonprofit New York, Candid, and SeaChange Capital Partners are working on an updated report that will help the sector, funders, and policymakers understand current racial leadership disparities within the nonprofit sector.

The A Place at the Table campaign seeks to increase access for smaller, grassroots nonprofits to engage in the policymaking process. According to national data, only 3% of nonprofits lobby.1 Despite having a legal and constitutional right to lobby,2 many under-resourced organizations3 choose not to engage in permissible advocacy because they fear they are ill equipped to handle the administrative burden that comes with lobbying rules, regulations, reporting, and penalties.
