Social media has become a necessary part of nonprofit advocacy and is now a component of any campaign. Nonprofit New York created this social media action toolkit for nonprofit organizations to use and customize for their own campaigns. We hope it helps you support your mission and advocacy!

2021 Voter Engagement Toolkit for Nonprofits!

Nonprofits are trusted spaces in our communities and we must ensure that they have the tools they need to participate in voter engagement while continuing to be above the political fray. To honor this need, Community Votes, Nonprofit New York, and Nonprofit VOTE have partnered together to create the 2021 Voter Engagement Toolkit for 501(c)3 organizations.

Dear Nonprofit New York Members, 

As we look forward to 2022, we know that many things will be different in New York City. We will be working with a new Mayor, a new Comptroller, 5 new Borough Presidents, and 38 new City Council Members. There will be new faces and new energy in many of the City agencies that work closely with nonprofits, and at all levels of government, there will be a growing awareness of the advocacy potential of an increasingly organized and collaborative nonprofit sector.
