Many nonprofit and social service organizations are struggling with drastically-altered operations and decreases in revenue brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. Some organizations have been forced to make tough decisions to decrease payrolls, temporarily shutter secondary service locations, or simply reconsider how to best carry out their missions while being mindful of the health and well-being of members of the public, employees, and volunteers.

New York, NY, August 6, 2020 – Now in its 14th year, the Nonprofit Excellence Awards continues to be a powerful learning opportunity for nonprofit organizations in the New York City area.
In fall 2019, Measure of America (MOA) in partnership with Nonprofit New York launched Learning What Works (LWW), a free nine-month technical assistance pilot program designed to increase nonprofit leaders’ capacity to use data for setting goals, defining programming needs, evaluating progress, and communicating their results.
