How many are on your team?
Nonstop Administration and Insurance Service Inc.'s more than 50 employees work nationwide to bring high-quality health benefits to nonprofits with 50 or more employees on benefits.
Servicing how many of the nonprofit population?
Nonstop Administration and Insurance Services, Inc. currently administers health benefits for 76 nonprofit clients in 16 states.
Tell me about the organization and a little bit about what you do.
Nonstop Administration and Insurance Services, Inc. was founded with the mission to reduce health insurance costs for nonprofits and their employees without slashing benefits. With our flagship program, Nonstop Wellness, Nonstop has saved nonprofits millions in premiums and employee out-of-pocket costs. Today, Nonstop promotes access to primary care via robust first-dollar coverage plan design, which results in reduced premiums and better benefits for employees.
Where do you see your organization in the next five years or ten years?
In the next 5-10 years, Nonstop will continue our mission-driven work to eliminate barriers to care through first-dollar coverage plan design. Nonstop will continue to work with nonprofits, health centers and qualifying for-profits to dismantle regressive “skin in the game” approaches to employer-sponsored healthcare so that employees don’t have to choose between their financial health and physical well-being.
How has partnering with Nonprofit New York helped you succeed?
Nonstop has worked with Nonprofit New York for nearly two years, and in that time, the organization has supported us in getting the word out about our mission and the solutions that we offer. Nonprofit New York has advocated for Nonstop’s approach to improving benefits for nonprofit workers by helping us to work more closely with nonprofit leaders and benefits decision-makers in New York. We’re excited to announce our recent official partnership, finalized in December of 2019.
What resources or services can you offer Nonprofit New York members so they can grow and see their missions fulfilled?
What truly sets Nonstop apart is our innovative first-dollar coverage plan design, which eliminates co-pays and promotes access to primary care by reducing or eliminating employee out of pocket costs entirely. This unique approach to health plan design is a powerful tool for the recruitment, retention, engagement, and well-being of the Nonprofit New York workforce.
What are you currently working on that you want us to mention to our membership?
Nonstop is proud to be offering a free webinar event in partnership with retirement benefits provider experts, Mutual of America. We will discuss how nonprofit executive leadership can be speaking to nonprofit leaders on how to strategically approach benefit design to help them take control of their employee benefits package and break the hazardous cycle of employer-sponsored health and retirement benefits that don’t work together.
