The Nonprofit Coordinating Committee of New York (NPCC) has opened the Become An NPCC Trainer application for professional development workshops for the period beginning October 2017 through September 2018. Potential trainers from within the nonprofit sector as well as the for-profit arena are welcome to apply. Selected trainers will be sharing expertise to provide the best quality education and training to our vast member database.
“We are excited to be able to launch this program here at NPCC as it will allow us to tap into more resources and extend our reach to find the best educators for our vast workshop curriculum,” said Joseph Taylor, NPCC Programs Manager.
NPCC’s educational workshops include webinars, full-day workshops, half-day workshops, and advocacy/policy issue updates (generally two hours). The content of these trainings focuses on and aligns with NPCC’s Eight Key Areas of Nonprofit Excellence, including results and impact, governance, financial management, diversity/inclusion/equity, human resources, information technology, communications, and fundraising.
NPCC is a recognized leader for and voice of the nonprofit sector in the New York City area. Our workshops and trainings help NPCC to achieve our mission to help New York nonprofits thrive to build better communities for all.
