What is your organization's mission?
Nonprofit Finance Fund®️ (NFF®️) is a nonprofit lender, consultant, and advocate. For more than 40 years, we’ve worked to strengthen nonprofit organizations and improve the way money flows to social good. We believe that alongside others we must build a more equitable and just social sector, and are committed to helping community-centered organizations led by and serving people of color access the money and resources they need to realize their communities’ aspirations.
What do you like the most about being a Nonprofit New York member?
Nonprofit New York is an important local advocacy partner. By joining the monthly policy call, we’re able to stay connected to the New York nonprofit community, which keeps us current on what’s happening and updated on emerging concerns and opportunities.
Have you read or listened to any sector or sub-sector-related publications, podcasts, or books that you would recommend to the community?
For Black History Month, we asked NFF staff what they were listening to, watching, reading, and doing to honor Black history and celebrate Black futures. Check out their recommendations in this blog.
Have you made relationships with other Nonprofit New York members? If so, what has come out of building those connections? If not, is there any organization you'd like to partner with?
Our Nonprofit New York membership provides great networking and partnership opportunities. By meeting other organizations who are aligned with our values and what we’re working toward together, we can complement each other in our pursuit of equity and find ways together to be helpful in shifting the dynamic of how money is accessed and used.
